One hundred forty-six volunteers cleaned 31 yards in Caledonia plus the Gazebo Park for a recent Neighbors' Day sponsored by the Rotary Club of Caledonia with financial assistance from Thrivent. Ninth graders and fourth graders from Caledonia Area Public Schools came in force with their teachers, para-professionals and administrators to learn about and participate in this community service project. Other teams of volunteers represented local businesses, organizations, and private individuals. After completing their assignments, the volunteers enjoyed pizza at Elsie's compliments of Rotary and Thrivent. Rotary sincerely appreciates the cooperation with the school and the effort of all volunteers for this project and hopes to see you at next year's Neighbors' Day.
