No meeting January 2.

We will meet next on January 9, and then the 16th.   The Board will meet on the 23rd.   The 30th will be a social at Ashley's 6-8 PM.

Nancy Runningen has volunteered to do Programs, Inspiration, Greeting duties, and Facilitator duties for January.

January 9 program - Jamie Ideker.  Jamie is the owner of Jamie's Top Notch Travel, a local travel agency. Jamie will share how she can help you with your travel plans.

January 16 program - Mary Mell   Mary will share information about the Spirituality Center in LaCrosse  and her spiritual journey.

In January we need to vote on our next year's officers.  Arien has agreed to be President- Elect, Ashley has agreed to stay as Secretary, and Craig has agreed to stay as Treasurer.  Tom previously was nominated to be President next year, but due to recent health challenges he faces, both he and the board agree that this obligation should be removed.  Thus we need another member to step up to be President-Elect now and to be our President starting July 1.  Please let me know as soon as possible if you are willing to serve in this capacity so we can make arrangements with our District leaders.  The President -Elect should attend the PETS conference in March.

President, Dan Small

Grant Management Seminar On Zoom

The annual Grant Management Seminar will occur on Wednesday, February 12th from 6:30- 8:00 pm on Zoom. Any Rotarian in D6250 that is interested in learning about District Grants and Global Grants is encouraged to attend. There will be content relevant to your experience level whether you are brand new to the grant process or have led grant projects in the past.

Please note that as part of Grant Qualification for clubs in D6250, each club that wants to lead a District Grant or Global Grant (host or sponsor club) in RY2025-26 is required to send at least one person to the Grant Management Seminar. If your club cannot find someone to attend, then you can do the Grant Management Module on The Learning Center and send the certificate of completion to District Rotary Foundation Chair Erin Luken. The Learning Center mostly covers Global Grants, though, and does not have district-specific information related to District Grants.

Please sign up via the event on our district calendar: Grant Management Seminar.
Upon signing up you will receive the Zoom link. Course materials will be provided both before and after the seminar. All attendees are encouraged (but not required) to complete the Grant Management Seminar at The Learning Center at their own convenience. You can access the module by logging into MyRotary, clicking on The Learning Center, and searching Grant Management in the search bar.
