May 2024
Neighbors Day was a big success. One hundred forty-six volunteers cleaned 31 yards in Caledonia plus the Gazebo Park. Our club organized the service project, chaired by Sherry Sime. Thanks to Sherry for a superb job ! Volunteers from the 9th and 4th grades of Caledonia Area Schools along with their teachers and paras and administrators, local businesses, organizations and community individuals participated. The volunteers enjoyed pizza at Elsie's compliments of Rotary and Thrivent. Though windy and a little chilly, it was a great day of service to the community.
The Rotary Club's rummage sale will be held on Friday, May 17, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 517 S Ramsey St in Caledonia (Sherry's garage).. Members are to bring items to sell after noon on Wednesday, May 15, or on Thursday. We'll ask members to help so sign up will be at our next two meetings.
