For those who weren't at last week's meeting, the Club decided to cancel Neighbors' Day this year due to lack of volunteers to help facilitate the event. Hopefully, next year will be bigger and better!

 

Also, we heard back from the city that they are not interested in setting aside a plot for Interact's community garden at this time. This could change in the future as the waste management system is built, and they start making plans for what to do with the public use part of the land. 

 

The Membership Committee is actively working on using our grant funds. Thank you to Nancy for being in contact with Ryan Pitts about getting a video created! We have also started a list of groups in the community who may be looking for volunteers. Please take a look and see if there are any additions or corrections to make. The purpose of this is to create an online portal where people looking to get involved in the community can go to find groups with whom they can volunteer. 

 

Registration for RYLA is open! If you know of students who would like to learn more about leadership through this great event, let me know. 

 

The La Crosse After Hours Club is hosting a virtual Pints for Polio event with Pearl Street Brewery on April 9th from 6:30-8 p.m. For more details, go to their website. 

 

Registration for the District Conference is open! There are events all week, so you can pick and choose which sessions interest you.
