Happy New Year!

 

We’re in the line-up for the Quillin’s cookouts during the 2022 summer and they do go fast!  The dates are reserved for July 22 for Interact and July 29 for Rotary.  It’s so refreshing to be planning for a summer activity!!!

 

Did anyone notice?  Christmas elves added red bows to make the Gazebo more festive before Santa visited this year.  They have more ideas for next year.

 

The Holiday Social at Naomi’s was a small but fun and intimate group.  It proved to be a very nostalgic evening, each of us sharing so many memories from our childhoods.  Thank you, Naomi, for hosting and sharing your sweet treats! 

 

Interact wrapping produced a free-will donation of $110.  I was very pleased to hear, Bob Allen, our Assistant District Governor, was one of several customers.

 

The food collection at Rotary Lights on December 3 produced 1,960 pounds.  Thank you, Randy Mell, for manning the truck and trailer for the night.  December 27 required a big volunteer commitment, and we met the challenge.  Thank you to our members and their friends and family who contributed their time and energy.  Also, a special thank you to Randy Mell, Dave Runningen, and Joe Welch for coordinating the trucks and trailer to bring home our stash of 1,520 pounds.  Our food shelf is always very appreciative.

 

That brings a close to a very successful year and continued momentum for the New Year!
