Rotary Club of Caledonia recognized teachers and staff in Caledonia Public Schools, St Mary's Grade School, St John's Grade School, Spring Grove Public Schools, and Houston Public Schools on May 4 as part of Teachers Appreciation Week.
Donuts purchased at the Caledonia Bakery were distributed to the schools in Caledonia. Coffee cakes from the Caledonia Bakery were given to Houston and Spring Grove Schools. A total of 152 donuts and 14 coffee cakes were given. Appreciation was expressed to school staff for the extra effort they gave this year in providing education to students during the pandemic. Ashley Dress, Mary Mell, Nancy and Dave Runningen, and Naomi Fruechte were the Rotarians who volunteered to deliver the goodies early morning on May 4.
